Ireland’s Big Issue Street Soccer League opens in Carlow

As part of our goal to open up our Street soccer league program countrywide. Ireland’s Big Issue recently setup its latest street soccer program in Carlow. With Leagues now running in Cork, Waterford, Limerick, Athlone, Galway, Longford and 5 leagues in Dublin we are, with the help of many enthusiastic supporters and sponsors -FAI, Start Mortgages- striving to engage and help, through the medium of sport those whose access to mainstream sporting activity has been limited. Sport is the perfect medium for building self-esteem, confidence and self-discipline, which are the necessary building blocks to moving on in life towards a brighter future.
