The Homeless Haka |
Irish team favourites to progress as draw is made in the homeless World Cup.
The first round draw was made in Melbourne Australia today for the sixth Homeless World Cup and Ireland found themselves in group A alongside France, Romania, USA, Kenya, and Hong Kong.
Coach Dan Carey was optimistic about making the second stage of the tournament, "We've avoided the big guns and given quality of our team, I'll be very surprised if we don't make it to the second stage."
The buzz going around the training area is that Ireland look most impressive and they could go far.
This was echoed by team leader Sean Kavanagh who thinks that if the team can replicate their recent form they will be in with a splendid chance.
